[LUG] [LAW] PC AV causes a Crash

[LUG] [LAW] PC AV causes a Crash

2007-07-11 by Chaz

I am running Logic 5.5.1 and I was experimenting with PC AV. Every since I clicked this in the Audio preferences, the program will not run. I get the opening screen, and you see all the modules that are loading on the bottom, but when it gets to PC AV ESE something or another, it freezes.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it still shows up. Is there a way to de select this option from outside the program?

I am running XP Pro, with 2gb of RAM - I have M-Audio Firewaire Solo, but tried disconnecting it.

  Thanks in advance!

  Chaz

If you hold down one of the modifier keys (Ctrl or Alt - the audio
engine and you can go in and change the settings back to ASIO. Then just
close and restart Logic and you should be good to go.

Sorry about the earlier message - a chunk was removed accidentally.

If you hold down one of the modifier keys (Ctrl or Alt - can't remember
which) - Logic will launch without starting the selected audio
engine and you can go in and change the settings back to ASIO. Then just
close and restart Logic and you should be good to go.
