Of course, you need to check that you are at a sample rate of 44.1 or
whatever, and then check any audio files in use - and bounce them or convert them if
necessary to make sure everything is the same and what you expect it to be.
You might also try switching to the built-in audio drivers and see if the
drivers are causing the problem. I had occasional problems with the m-audio drivers
and the Native Instrument drivers (more where they produce (strong unwanted
digital) distortion though).
However, I suspect that Logic is just bogging down. I think the truth of the
matter is that it can't necessarily handle all that many plug ins and virtual
instruments - especially things like Sculpture and Echoboy. I have had as many
as 10 virtual instruments with 20 plugs, but sometimes I get those sync
errors even with only a few tracks and few plugs.
