Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I installed L8, but not the "content" - just the program.  It seems  
that it replaced my sampler instruments folder (Library>App  
Support>Logic>Sampler Instruments) with its own, so now I have lost  
all my 3rd party exs instruments.  My samples are safe on my audio  
drive, but the exs instruments constructed from those samples is a  
huge loss.  How could this happen???

They are still there but placed outside the folder. Do a quick search on one of the exs files that you miss and you will find them again. We all had this problem when we upgraded so don't worry.
