best mac pro at the moment?

best mac pro at the moment?

people...
can someone give their .02 on the best bang for the buck in regards to
the mac pros that are available?  my G5 went down and i'm in a
quandary on if i should repair it or if i should upgrade..?  advice?
(dual g5, 3 GB ram, 2 HDs...)
new mac pro? config?

It depends on what is wrong with the G5... it might be worth it to  
repair it and wait for another round or two of MacPro's.

I agree. I changed from G5:2x1.8 to Intel:4x2.6, and notice little 
difference. Apple always updates things - eventually. So you might skip a round. The 
only thing is that the G5 will drop in value more too. You can also wait until 
new Mac Pro's are released then get a good deal on a used model of the current 
intel mac which will be much lower too.
