Camel Alchemy

Camel Alchemy

2008-09-13 by HKC

I wonder if the new Alchemy from Camel is a more conventional synth (nineties-conventional) in the Roland JV style. It includes 2 GBs of samples so it's not entirely filterbased. I have a JV2080 which I probably wouldn't use much if it wasn't for my quite a few of my clients who seem to like the "all in one box" approach.
Having listened to the Alchemy demo I'm not sure if it's basically just another take on what Zebra does very well, it sounds nice but so does all the competition. Does anybody know of plugin that can replace a JV.

They don't seem to have the alchemy video demo working yet, so I can't hear
anything. It sounds interesting. i have all of camel's other stuff and they are
all really useful.
