Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hi

I just upgraded my logic express 7 to 8. I have some garritan
libraries and the motu ethno instrument. When I look in the audio
manager I see all of them listed and validated,but when I open a
project in logic and click on assign and audio units all I see are the
Apple items. How do I get mine to show up there as well?

I am not completely sure, but I think you now have to open Kontact Player, 
then select Garritan - instead of having a Garritan face to the plug in as 
before.

this is correct. you have to go via kontakt player.

I started up the motu ethno instrument and then started up logic. It
still isn't showing up

I found the problem. I was looking under inserts but they are listed
under I/O
