I/O Plugin to use an external compressor

I/O Plugin to use an external compressor

2004-12-14 by Ron Marinelli

I tried using the I/O plugin to use an external compressor, but I get 2 signals returned,
and one is panned hard left or right, depending on which compressor I send to. It sounds
like the original signal and the compressed signal together.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

I'm sorry I never tried that, maybe someone else can answer better. I have
done that sort of thing the "old fashioned" way. I just solo the track, then
take the outputs and put them through the external devices, then record them to
new tracks. Then I open the sample editor and remove the extra blank space that
represents the latency, so its sample accurate in the start point.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
