Re: [Logic_Cafe] Fwd: EastWest/Quantum Leap FREE Orchestral Sounds Library

With parts two and three downloaded, each says "Mounting Failed" They've been downloading for several hours, and part one, the larger one, is still not downloaded. Could it be that Part One has to mount first? When I click on parts two and three, the alert says "Part (n) is still downloading," which it isn't. Anyone else seeing this? Mac Book Pro, Safari 4, 10.5.8. Thanks.

Multi-part disk images need to all be downloaded before you can mount

The instructions in the files (readme) say install them in order.. Instal 1 then 2 then 3. Trying to install any other order will fail.
My is working just fine. (Mine is a MAC install)

Nope not multipart images. 3 separate installers (Mountable MAC images) that have to be installed in the correct order.
Yep that take a while to download but I got al three and installed them in order and all is working 100%.

Below is a section of the instruction contained in the downloaded images.
Read the first Paragraph. which I have copied below and highlighted in red..

===========
INSTALLATION and SETUP GUIDE

IMPORTANT - PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE TO THE LATEST VERSION ONLINE AFTER INSTALLATION

1. How do I install the software and the library?

In order to install the EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Free edition, you must download all three installers from soundsonline.com, and run each installer in order. The installers are marked "Part 1," "Part 2," and "Part 3." THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT; failure to run each installer in order will result in installation and runtime errors.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
