Hi everybody,

 I'm trying to edit a loop. I want to silence an area but My LogicPro audio editer has all the processing options greyed out. it probably something really simple...can anyone help me out.

Try saving it as something else first and then load the new file up  
and try again. But it sounds like it is protected so it might not be  
possible to edit it destructively, in which case try scissors or  
automation to cut out the unwanted sound

Or bounce it out to a new track/audio file and edit the new version..

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
