Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

There seems to be a change in the way "Normalize Region Parameters" is functioning for me.  If I record a midi region, then transpose it, Normalize Region Parameters should leave it in the new key while resetting the Transposition parameter to 0.  At least that's the way it worked for the last 100 years or so.  But now when I normalize region parameters, the region reverts back to the original key, essentially undoing the changes I made.  Is that some new, useless feature of this function, or is my system smoking crack?  I haven't upgraded since v.8.0.2, but I'm not sure how long this nonsense has been going on.  Is it the same way for everybody else?

I've had less trouble with root canals. Logic and I just don't seem to get along. Here's the latest chapter in our Bickersons relationship.

I purchased the Korg Legacy Collection. Loads and shows up just fine in Pro Tools 8, Garage Band and standalone mode. But in Logic, nope, nowhere to be seen. Is there something I'm not doing? My relationship with Logic continues to suggest it's not my cup of tea. Any advice on why this beast is so stubborn has my gratitude.

Need to provide more info.  What version of Mac OSX, Logic, Korg Legacy 
Collection, etc.
When you say it shows up in ProTools that doesn't help because protools 
doesn't use AudioUnits.
GarageBand working does indicate that things are set up correctly.

HAve you tried running the AudioUnit Manager in Logic?

Korg software is always a pain in the arse in my experience.  Chances 
are it failed to validate when Logic saw it.  Logic's validation is 
pretty strict and Korg are not known for following the required 
standards in their coding.

So check out the Audio Unit Manager and check to see if the legacy 
collection failed validation.
