GM Drum Set, Hyper Edit

GM Drum Set, Hyper Edit

2005-02-03 by bloodychoir

Hi everyone. I'm running DFH Superior in Logic 7 and slowly getting there. A question
regarding creating GM drm sets in Hyper Edit. As far as I know, if you want to custom
design a set you have to discover where all of your drums and cymbals have been
automatically assigned and change the names to their proper ones. If there's a better and
easier way I'd like to know, but if not my question is - is there a way to save these as
preset Gm drum sets? After assigning all my hits to midi controller keys, then changing
the names in Hyper Edit, I can't believe there isn't a way of keeping a set and using it in a
different project. There only seems to be the option of Create New GM Drum Set. Any
help would be wonderful.

Thanks, Glenn.

I never used this but as I recall when you import settings you can import hypersets. So they must be like screensets which are saved with the song.

I still wish Logic had global screensets so they apply to all songs automatically instead of having to go through this import process on each song every time you change things.

Thanks mate, I'll try that.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
