> You can see the WIPAC driving lights I just installed on my car. Don, Do you find the lights affect the cooling on your car? I onced took part in a 'classic car run' where we had a plate fitted to the nose (directly over the top of the central air intake and extending down to cover about 10-15% of it) and the engine ran REALLY hot. As soon as the event was over, I took the plate off and the temperature returned to the normal rather warm! :^) On the subject of 'what I did this weekend', I can't quite compete with Sears Point (Although I was lucky enough to be there last year), but I got to a lovely warm Brooklands on Sunday. Richard Porter (Mini Marcos Owners Club) was there with his Mini Jem (he'd been to Scotland in it the previous week - no mean feat, I'd imagine.), which is a derivative of the Mini Marcos, and there was also a metallic burgundy Mantula coupe there (looked rather smart too), but I didn't find the owner. Overall, the event was a bit low key this year (A few traders were bemoaning the poor turnout on Saturday and Sunday), but the really good news is that Brooklands (including the remaining banking) now has 'historic monument' status, meaning the rapidly encroaching business park won't be allowed to swamp the remaining parts of the circuit. If you ever come over to the London area (or anywhere in the South, really) or live in the UK, I'd really recommend a visit to Brooklands as it has some great (and ever improving) exhibits (both motoring and aeronautical) and the ghosts of the pre-war racers are palpable as you stand on the banking. Cheers, Mark
