Marcos Maniacs

Dear Marcos friends,

first of all thanks for the reactions on the early cars, but as you will 
understand I am after even more info and I hope you can keep on helping me. 
I have no idea about the American classic car scene, so I totally rely on 
all of you.

John Sutton told me the following:

I remember the Marcos (his gullwing) being advertised for sale in Road & 
Track, it must
have been in the 1980's.   Unfortunately I did not keep a copy, or I
cannot find it.   It was being offered by a young lady in California.
It was registered 80 SNK which I remember it still carried and there was
a photo of it.

So that is the start and all I know. Where is it now, that is the question. 
Is there anyone who is in touch with classic car magazines that I could get 
in touch with, and does anybody happen to know somebody at Road & Track who 
could help search for the ad? Or has anybody got all the Road and Tracks of 
the Eighties?

Any suggestions out there that could put me on track?
