Just received another email from the Marconi Museum and the DeDion IRS car they have is serial #4043. That confuses things a bit. If Jem said that 33 were made with the DeDion then some in the first 50 or so had to have live rear axles. Starting serial # would probably be 4001. Oh well, I'll keep digging for more info.
