I've put a pic in the "photos" section of the site of an
alternator conversion that was sent to me when I did mine. Mine basically
is the same except my rear bracket is a little different.

some group expertise. I'd like to change the dynamo on my 1970 V6 for
an alternator. The wiring part of it is fine, but I'm having problems
getting the alternator low enough to avoid fouling the bonnet.
I've been trying to use a standard ford alloy alternator braket but
it leaves the alternator too high up.
Anyone else found a suitable alternative, or is it fabricate my own/
modify the dynamo mount time?
