Marcos Maniacs

     Finally my container has arrived and I am pleased to say that Rory and 
I have reached agreement that MarcosParts USA will be the exclusive stocking 
disributor for Marcos parts in the US and Canada.

In setting up the operation I have tried to stock both the most in demand 
items plus the difficult to ship ones such as Windscreens. Obviously we 
cannot hold every part as the population of Marcos cars in North America is 
quite small, but as we ship containers three or four times a year from the 
UK we can always handle one off requirements.

By way of background, Marcos Parts USA is part of Chevron Tiga cars which is 
based in Jupiter Florida. We design, build and restore Race cars and supply 
parts and service for Chevron, Tiga, Lola and now Marcos cars. While the 
emphasis is on vintage and historic racing we also restore Lotus and other 
British makes.

I am currently restoring a 1969 Marcos 3 ltr. ford for vintage racing and my 
partner was a very successful Marcos racer in the 1970's.

This means that we can offer advice and support for performance upgrades and 
will offer some of these in addition to the standard Marcos spares.  We will 
also offer parts not easily sourced in the US and Canada which are not 
standard Marcos parts.

I will make a proper  parts and price list available in the near future but 
the following is the currently available stock.

I cannot finalize the prices until I have the final numbers on shipping and 
duty etc.,  but I am issuing this list as our transporter is making a trip 
to the West Coast and back leaving 16th Dec. This means that there is a 
chance for delivery at much reduced rates to normal, in time for the 
holidays.

We also have an updated complete front Brake Caliper Kit which comes with 
all lines and fittings and gives approximately 50% more Pad area with 4 Pot 
Calipers. Best of all it is a bolt on with NO modifications to the supension 
or uprights.

also a complete range of uprated supension bushes to improve the handling, 
from fast  road to race.

Finally as we find improvements from our racing program which can be 
translated to road use we will pass on that information for customers.

Last but not least these are the cities we will visit on our road trip.

Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle.
