Wow,
Ron, 100mph at 300 RPM. How fast does it go when you really wind her
up?

Subject: [MarcosManiacs] Spring arrives in OntarioManiacs . . .At last, a sunny weekend here with no rain, so time to get the Mantis out of storage. Took the cover off, key in the ignition, full choke, and crank. Had to crank a little, but finally the engine sprang to life. Careful check in the engine compartment and underneath - no fluids gushing out. Good sign! Out of the driveway, test the brakes - seem to be working well on all 4 wheels. Up to the gas station to check the tire pressure - all 4 are spot on. Around the local streets to warm things up - guages all working, clutch is good. Onto the highway, find a side road, then foot to the floor and wind it up through the gears - yep, still 100 mph at 300 RPM in top overdrive. So, bring on the summer!Regards . . .
