Hi Hal, Just to let you know I haven't forgotten. I will send you some pics of Roger in period which give you a good idea of helmets etc. The suits we wore then were single layer Dunlop light blue and I think Sparco do a current reproduction which is Vintage legal. On the engine front, the 1600 was used from 1967 onwards so depending on the tech guy your dealing with you might be able to convince him that it is period correct. Otherwise, list you car as a '67!!! Since the spec for the car was essentially unchanged from 66 to 67 and it is much easier to get parts for a crossflow I think that would be in the spirit of the regs. My 3ltr. will be ready for the paint shop this week and I hope to race it in early July. 7 years in restoration but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!
