Hal, One thing I forgot to mention was that you need to extend the oil pick up with a gauze faced box to the middle of the sump so that oil is collected under both braking and acceleration. Whist you are about it you could consider fitting an oil temperature gauge take off in the sump at the same time. I raced my Marcos very successfully in 1961, winning all the qualifying rounds of the Autosport Championship and taking the Championship too. In 1963 I was 2nd at the Nurburgring in the 500 km race. I have written about it on www.motorsnippets.com <http://www.motorsnippets.com/> and this is in the Features section. Have a look. I am currently trying to trace my car which was last advertised in Road & Track in California in 1971. It was the first car sold to a member of the public. I had to build it myself as Jem Marsh was no help and did not think I was capable of winning races. Maybe one needs that sort of incentive to prove people wrong.
