Beware Inlets (and inlet manifolds) for us spec engine differs from british spec engines and are NOT compatible. Been there tried that. What I ended up doing is installing a british spec engine with PI from vrom to WROOOMM in 3 months and surprisingly little hassle.throttle response compared to the triple weberconfig was greatly enhanced =8) but mpg wasn´t :( cheers Johan Lundberg formerly 2t 4883 now working on two 1600s for racing.
