Hampton,
Tire rack doesn't list any "H" rating in that size.
I think you'll be hard pressed to find that rating. They have 13 different
tires in that size but they are "T" or "S" rated. The Pirelli P400 Touring
don't look too bad though.
One of the reasons I went to the 16" wheel/tire combo was
the increasing unavailability of 13" tires.
Some of the specialty tire places will have what you want
but they also want your first-born for payment.
I looked at your car in Portland and the owner told me he
had bought it from someone back east, maybe OHIO? Other than that I don't
have any history on the car.

As I am working on the restoration of 3M 5463 and have already
rebuilt the dash, suspension and other ancillary parts, I wonder if
there are any suggestions as to a 185/70 13 tire thats HR rated, as
I have the original alloys? I'm (planning, at least) that I'll have
the car finished by the end of the year and as I like to obtain the
parts I need for a restoration before I actually need them, any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Any other owner history on my car would be appreciated, as well. I
have the documents from Marcos Heritage, and have looked at the
email postings here, but there is a big gap from the first owner
(president of Ford Motor Company) to the first Maniac owner.
Thanks,
Hampton Peterson
