I don't think many Martinas were actually sold and even fewer 
assembled.

I did drive one once, Alan Fereday's demonstrator, and it was great -
 Not at all un-Marcos-like to drive, nice and light and refined and 
with a modified 2.0 Pinto and short shift 5 speed box it was very 
enjoyable to drive and performed well.

Of course, not all will be as professionally assembled or finished, 
so just check for the usual things. Chances are if the trim looks 
poorly finished, EVERYTHING is, but then it's all very cheap Ford to 
replace, so that's a positive.

Look for rust on the mounting points for the front suspension and 
the majority of the chassis, notably to lower sill rails.

Let us know what you find out.
