Donny,
Is your serial # 2M5514? And what's the correct
year?
I thought this car looked familiar. I thought
Michael Crews got it in West Virginia? Please let us know what Hayes has
to say. I'm really curious! Thanks.

He had a Marcos that was supposed to be the magazine/show car that I looked at before I settled for my project car. It was Chroma Yellow with black interior, Volvo w/ automatic (with a moderate leak!), Lotus taillights, recessed door handles, tempered glass rear window, bolstered center console, Marcos name on the petal box, and Marcos alloys including spare. I even recognize the steering wheel with the 5 hub screws instead or the usual 6. I'm sure this is the same car I test drove. I will call Hayes tomorrow to follow up to see if it went to California. If it is the same car, it was in really nice shape.Donny Lang #5514 (yes, I finally found the correct identity of my car, thanks to Larry!)----- Original Message -----From: Andy&Alison SewardSent: Wednesday, August 31, 2005 11:22 PMSubject: [MarcosManiacs] eBay Alert: Marcos 3 Liter for saleWhose car is this? Surely someone will recognize it...
Seller (eurocol) says this car is the 1970/71 N.Y. Motor Show car and was
featured in Car & Driver magazine December 1970.
