My metal chassis car a 1971 (#5916) had a scissor
style jack with the car when I purchased the car out of storage in Feb. of
1975. I don't know if it is the "Marcos Jack" or not. The jack
handle is a rod that folds in 1/2. The car had the original Avon tires so
it may not of even been used. I still carry same in the car since it gets
the job done when required.
Sorry I can not be of more help.
Thanks

Hello all,
Does anyone know what jack is used for the metal chassis cars?
The photos in a couple of the tests of the period show a sissors style
and the jacking points on the frame have a hole in the middle for a
pin (or so it seems). Did Marcos just use one from another car of the
period such as Spitfire? Also, was a tool kit original to the car?
Thanks again,
