The question: is it the paint or the gel
coat? If it is the paint the fix should be easy for the body shop, if they
do work on other glass cars. If the problem is in the gel coat, then the
problem gets more expensive! If it is the gel coat, please be aware that
the glass technology and resin types that are on the market today make the
resins used in our cars 40 plus years ago obsolete. I hope you don't have
to apply new gel coat, however if you do you might want to research some of the
new resin options. Mike Denman did some glass work on his car several
years ago, I would get his input.
Thanks

I'm taking my nose section back to the shop for respray. When they
did it last year something went wrong and it is cracking. Possibly
they didn't remove all the old paint first.
They're having the Dupont rep come in to look at it but I'd like to
get some opinions beforehand.
Any suggestions?? Thanks.
