Paul, My address is rhdspritemk1@... because my sprite is RHD. I currently have the Weber 45 on my stock block 1275. It runs great. I would never go back to the SU carbs even though I have done all sorts of mods to the SU,s for improved performance. The rest of my engine is very modified. The pointless ignition is a good mod but I have found that the points set up works very well also. Unlike the Marcos where the distributor is under the front carb the Sprite does not have that problem. You can remove the distributor in 2 minutes and service the points and reinstall it in no time. I am working on a cross flow head for my sprite and will at that time need to go to the pointless set up.
