I have just aquired 3M/5447, a 1969 steel bodied V6. Searching other Marcos owners in Norway, I sent a mail to a guy in the west part of our country. He called me back tonight, offering his steel-chasied, Volvo engined 3 litre for a unnormal low sum. When he said why, I understood why the asking price was so low... The car went up in flames a couple of years ago, when returning from Nurburgring. Only the steel chassis, engine and axles incl wheels, remains. Body and interior is long gone... Is this a car worth restoring, or should I let it pass me by? Is it possible to buy a new body - and if so; at what price? Is it possible to build a convertilbe of it?
