Hello Larry and others,

 

Thanks to your photos and drawings with dimensions from Rory, the front suspension brackets have now been re and re’d back closer to spec.  

 

The car must have been in an accident before I got it, though there is no other sign of damage.  That still does not explain how someone could bodge a repair so badly that the front wheels could not steer.  The ways of the world are oft baffling.  I’m send along some photos of the current look which is far better than the earlier photos I sent you.
