Marcos Maniacs

Larry, here,
I an in the pre assembly stage of Chris's 1970 Marcos number 3v5640. I have removed the automatic gear box and replaced it with a M 410 Volvo box with Over drive. I removed the rusted lower frame rails and welded in new one. The body and paint work has been done by a local shop in Sarasota. It has a beautiful finish. I will let Chris tell you about the color when the car is finished. It has been a fairly easy restoration. Some minor upholstery work, new wool carpet and a new sunroof.

Mine is also a wooden chassis which I took apart over 30 years ago and am now getting it put back together.

1600 GT wood chassis. 
Major restoration project.  
Was intent on putting an Alfa engine in it, now sort of looking for a Kent 1600 to build.
