Hello to all.

 

I have a 1965 marcos #3040. I have been restoring it for 2 yrs & am almost done. I live in Saratoga Springs NY and am hoping to have it on the road by the end of April. The car has been off the road since the 70's an I just found it a few yrs ago. Mechanically it has been total strip down and rebuit.  It has been invited to a few invertationals and I'm hoping to have it done in time. If anyone is in the area or knows of events in the Northeast please let me know.

I am hoping that April 12 is nice weather as the Williamsburg British & European Show in Chickahominy Va. is happening and De and I drove #5101 down (little over 3 hours for us) last year for the event. They are featuring Sunbeam Tiger and I will be riding down with a few Tiger friends (looking for more Marcos friends here!) from the DC area, weather permitting.  If there is any other Marcos owners out there close by I would love to meet you and see your car.  By the way, I purchased #5156, '68  1600 Woodie last year (sitting in garage as a storage box since 1974) and in the middle of complete re-do in my garage.  Hope to be able to put on the full court press this year to complete.
