Yes,
you're right - it depends on which side of the road you drive on. And,
yes, the European style works for us here in North America.
And I
remember about the parking lights now: In England, many cars had "parking
lights" which just lit on the driver's side of the car - i.e. the side sticking
out into traffic. However, I know that on the Mantis, these parking light
bulbs inside the rectangular units were never connected to
anything.

Or you could have them like I did and they will point in opposite
directions. Took a while to see your point but after looking at the
two different styles the "European" style has the curved flutes (?)
on the right side when looking directly at it and the British style
is the opposite.
I guess it isn't dependent on LHD or RHD. It depends on which side
of the road you drive on. Correct? So I want "European" style here
in the states (dipping to the right)? I have two of the "European"
style but only one has the parking light hole. Get the drill!
Thanks for the help! Check and application are in the mail!!
