Chassis #7073 ready to race. Note the red Swedish import/export plates on the car, along with minilite wheels and Les Leston steering wheel. The text lists a 120hp FIA Group 2 motor at this time. |

Photograph taken at the RGB Saisonfinale Rennen (Season Finale Race) at the Nürburgring track in 1996. The 1962 Marcos GT with a modern rollbar and safety equipment weighed 610 kilos with fuel and oil, so it was quite light and quick. |

Although my 1962 Marcos Luton Gulling qualified well, during the race the Porsche 911s ran away from me and hid! However, I had a great race with the Alfa TZ1 and Lotus Elite, coming second in class to one of the Elites. |

|
Each year there was a nice race on the Hockenheimring';s ";short course"; for the German GTM historic racing series. As I lived just 10 miles north of Hockenheimring, this was the Marco';s home track. |
| Andy Seward | Marcos vs Spitfire @Zandvoort |
|
Rainer Bastuck was a good friend and he was very quick in his Triumph Spitfire -- we had some great fights, as seen in this photo from the Zandvoort track in the Netherlands. |

Chassis #7073 was ";rescued"; after his racing career by a Swedish helicopter pilot who extensively restored the car for fast street driving. Note the excellent set of Jaeger gauges he installed! Very professionally done. |
| Andy Seward | 1967 Mini Marcos Rear View |
|
This is one of my favorite views of the Mini Marcos, looking very low to the ground and purposeful. If you look closely, you will see part of the factory Marcos rollbar, which is bonded into the ceiling. Original Barnacle mirror can be spotted, too |

This is how Chassis #7073 looked in the late 1990s, sporting a set of Revolution wheels. |
| Andy Seward | 1967 Mini Marcos Motor |
|
The motor in chassis #7073 is currently 1380cc with mildly ported heads. The gearbox is a 4-speed synchro with relatively long-ratio final drive for street driving. Aluminum expansion tank and MkI Mini hydraulic cylinders with twin SU H4 carbs. |

My daughter in ";her"; Mini Marcos! She calls it the ";Elmo Car"; after the Sesame Street children';s show character. Well, I guess it actually IS a little red monster, after all! |

This is a very recent photo from mid-September 2003, taken at the Susquehanna Valley Vintage Sports Car Club (SVVSCC) ";Meeting of the Marques"; show in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. |

Page 2 of the Swedish ";Teknikens Varld"; magazine from Fall 1967. This photo shows chassis #7073 as he looked back then. Not much has changed! |

| Andy Seward | Fresh from the Factory March67 |
|
A young Bo Elmhorn, with chassis #7073 in tow, en route back to Sweden. This photo was taken in front of a UK pub... do any of our UK friends recognise this pub? I wonder if it still exists today. Photo courtesy of Mr. Bo Elmhorn. |
| Andy Seward | Grand Prix Rennstrecke 1996 |
|
This photo is probably from the Eifel Klassik race at the Nürburgring in 1996. The motor in the chassis #2006 when I owned her was an all-steel Stuart Rolt-built pre-crossflow 1298cc Ford, built on the 711M ";tall"; motor block & reving to >;8000 RPM. |
