Hello Don,
in Germany there is a man with name "Max Memminger" he restored one
these cars and there is a detailled story of the restauration in the
german newspaper "Oldtimer-Praxis" in March 2002. His car is the No.
18 built in 1964. It took him a long way to get the car ready and he
visited Jem Marsh in England to get information on this car. Jem
Marsh tried very hard to buy this early car for his own. And he told
Memminger that only 106 Marcos had the Volvo engine and from these
106 only 33 cars with the DeDion-Rear axle.
So the number of Cars with DeDion is 33 Marcii.
If someone is interested in the newspaper, I can send the article via
Fax or E-Mail, on the other side, you will find in EBAY allways this
issue quite cheap.
