Marcos project for sale in UK

Marcos Maniacs readers,
There is a 1969 steel-chassied Marcos on eBay (United Kingdom) listing 
number 4611898206. It has a Jaguar V-12 engine and driveline and needs 
at minimum a lot of body work to finish. This project is not for the 
faint-of-heart, nor would be the finished project! We need to at least 
find out what car # this was originally. It appears to be an original 
steel chassied car due to the rocker panel sill flat flange that 
attaches to the frame. Garry, Is this anything that interests you?

Larry, here,

It looks as though the frame and body have been extended about 8 inches on the front to accommodate the V-12. Would be a lot of body shapping to get the lines back.

Hi Donny,
   I will take a look at the car and see if it really is a restoration 
opportunity, or one of those projects that has no hope of ever turning into 
a 'real' car again. If it has potential I might ship it in my next 
container. Anyone interested?

Hi Everyone,
   Well, I don't plan to take on this as a project. The cost of shipping to 
the US would be more than it is worth and it could never be a 'real' Marcos 
again. Plus, I owned a Jag with a V12 which was a wonderful engine.....when 
it was running...! It will need someone very brave to take on this project.
