Marcos 1600 becoming Marcos-Alfa 2.0!

I have always liked British cars, and Alfa-Romeo's. Now I will have both at once! It looks like I am buying a rebuilt 2.0 Alfa engine and trans for the Marcos 1600. Seller spent over $5000 U.S. on the engine. I am getting it for less than half, and only 100 miles on it! It is a "warm" engine, 10.4:1 compression, Euro cams, Webers, etc. So I will try it out, if the performance is insufficient I will complete the build of my extreme custom Alfa 2.0 engine and swap it in. I doubt that performance will be lacking, top speed may not be as insane as I would hope, but will no doubt scare the hell out of most passengers in such a light car. I may also add an Alfa rear axle, gaining four wheel disk at the same time. I still have to decide what I am doing for wheels, but now I will soon be able to sort out the engine and trans fitting. I also recently bought a gallon of wood glue, now I need a source of prime ply-wood of the proper type to complete the chassis repairs.
