Marcos nose pivots

Marcos nose pivots

2006-08-15 by hide809rig169

I have Marcos 8001, 1982, does anyone know how the front hood supports
should look? It appears my cars steel frame that supports the hood
pivot, is not original on one side and is "hacked" up. There is
plywood in the nose that is busted and aluminum plates have been
bolted to the plywood to pivot off the "hacked" pivots. Does anyone
have a picture they can send me of their nose pivots? Is there any
adjustment for the nose built in? Also, my front control arms,
(wishbones) have spacers welded between the inner brackets and frame,
and rather crudely done, is this original? If someone could please e-
mail some pictures it would help. I am in southeastern Arizona,
(Sierra Vista) not much Marcos activity that I know here. Thanks,
Steve Vukobratovich vukosj@...

I have tried to send you detailed pix, but files are to large, so these pix might help. This is my 1970 Mracos.
Any Questions, lmeadowsw@...

Steve,

This must be a Twilight Zone entry.

Steve, drive out of your driveway, take Equestrian Drive to Buffalo Soldier
Trail, and enter the Main Gate of Fort Huachuca, you will find not one, but
two Marcii here with me. Go the photo file on our MarcosManiacs Yahoo!
Groups website and you will see photos of our Marcos cars under my name.

Give me a call tomorrow (kids are already asleep) -- I'm in the Sierra Vista
phone book.

Three Marcos cars in the sprawling megatropolis of Sierra Vista, AZ. Who
knew?!

Best Regards,
Andy
