ZIPPO US VINTAGE GRAND PRIX at Watkins Glen

After almost 7 years of trying to complete my Marcos GT I believe it is ready to take to the show. The window frames are completed and installed. The boot actually has carpet in the bottom. Weather strip actually is installed in the doors and the interior is completed. Also the drive train leaks oil in all the usual places and the new improved radiator works like a charm. Funny thing, when I completed the install of the windows in the doors and the weather strip plus the boot carpet, the car is so much quieter in the cockpit than I have ever experienced. Just great engine sounds from the Vulcan modified 1700cc crossflow. I will be attending the ZIPPO US VINTAGE GRAND PRIX at Watkins Glen on the 7th 8th and 9th. I will not be racing the car but will have an opportunity to get on track over the weekend. One of the previous owners of my car will be there also. He has not seen the car since the 1970's when it and he were in England. He also has recently provided me with information about my car that cleared up several questions I had about its build. I am really looking forward to him checking over the car and taking it for a drive. If any of the group are going there look me up. Bob Magnotti
