Engine Bay Connections 2ltr V4 Owners

Engine Bay Connections 2ltr V4 Owners

2008-06-25 by smiglit

1969 2LTR V4 (MBG55H)

Just wondering if there are any 2Ltr V4 owners out there that could
help me with some images of there engine bays.

It's been 15 years since I stripped MBG55H down and I can't remember
how the cables to the carb sit in their orientation and what brackets
are used for the choke and accelerator cables.

I am also interested in the two heater control cables, brackets and
orientation within the engine bay as both these items were originally
missing from the car when I bought it.

Could anyone provide me with images of the accelerator cable as it
enters the pedal assembly and how it secures and attaches to the
accelerator pedal?
Thanks in anticipation. Mick

Mick,
I still have an original 2 liter in my 1970 steel-chassied car (#5514). I will try to get some pictuures tomorrow if I get some spare time.
