Hi I am a 'new' maniac!,

phil Smethurst from the Uk - though residing in Australia currently - . I have owned a mini marcos which i have rebuilt into a racer with the intention to do some sprinting/hillclimbing. The car is sat in the garage in the Uk awaiting my return in July to fit the glass and tidy it up so it can attend the marcos 50th celebrations at Prescott.
I first got strated on marcos at the tender age of 7! when I saw my uncle Alans newly purchased marcos 1800gt - A car he still owns to this day 27 years later!. I'll have to try and get some pictures on-line of both cars at some point.

I also wish to get in contact with Ron Mcleod - can anybody provide an address for him? or advise the best way to contact him.

Thanks and happy marcosing!

Welcome, Phil! Glad you've joined MarcosManiacs and looking forward to seeing photos of your MM + your Uncle's 1800 GT. Please tell us the serial numbers as well if possible in order to add to the Registry file.

Best Regards,

Hi Phil, LTNS!

I'd be very pleased to have some pics of DH8241 for the Mini Marcos
web site. It will be good to see it and your good self at Prescott.

I built my Mk.IV in 1979-80 and it's still going strong!

Can't help there I'm afraid.

Richard
