There comes a time in every man's life were he realizes I don't have the time left to finish all this stuff. I'm at this point, so it is with regret I have to let go of some projects. I am looking to sell my 1964 1800 GT. She is in pieces with the body repairs done and primed.
I can supply pictures to interested parties, this is a full rebuild to finish but is complete.
Asking $5,000 CAD.

I know how you feel I feel that way some times myself. Please tell me a little more about the car, what is the cars number is it an IRS or fixed axel? Please send pictures and any info you can supply to. Sgk@motormonkeys.com thanks steve

Dear John,

The Marcos looks very promising. If it's still for sale,  I would really like to have it, if you want to sell it to me. I have been looking for an 1800gt for a while now, and hope to build another road car, just like my 1600gt (some pictures on http://victrace.blogspot.com/2011/11/marcos-1600-gt-1968.html).

Hi John,
            sorry you had to sell 4003 but great news that she will be coming home. The buyer "splinter" has already posted on the UK marcos forum so hopefully it will be built up as a road car or to its original spec and plenty of people will get to see it again.
 
Chassis 4001 and 4002 still survive as well as the aluminium buck used to build the 1800's which was later built up as a complete car and has been featured in CMI magazine recently with its new owner Dirk who is restoring the car.

regarding Johns 1800GT it has been Posted on the UK Marcos forum that 4003 will be rebuilt as road car which is great news for all Marcos enthusiasts.
