Hi, I have mostly MkII & M400 sounds in my M300. The M300 preamps are quite dull compared with other trons. I demonstrated this to myself recently by plugging the M300 headblocks into my M400 preamp using a coax extension lead - quite a difference! I'd quite like to retro fit WME290's into my M300 but the voltages are reversed in the 300 so I don't think it can be done.
