Seems the story of what happened to the Uriah Heep 'tron ought to be told by members of UH themselves. I'd like to hear that angle of it. It'd be really interesting if the band reported it stolen, and if the first seller in Minnesota was legit to begin with. Kean found the plexiglass M-400 twelve years ago in Texas after it had been stolen, and I'll tell ya...I'm still on the lookout for Jon Spencer Blues Explosion's stolen vintage Theremin...lifted from backstage at a show they did in Seattle a few years ago. By the way, a nice rendition of Genesis' "Live In New York City" by And You Know Us By The Trail Of Dead came across my desk last week as part of a three-song teaser from an upcoming full-length CD early next year. No Mellotron, but they've got the Gabriel warbling voice down wired. Next month is the 30th anniversary of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway album.
