Dagfinn, I'm using Cubase VST 5.1 to run M-Tron. For me it's a nice addition of over 100 sounds since I only have 6 sounds between my 2 M400's. I'm also using Halion for samples of my own Trons, the Primesounds Mellotron samples and other Tron samples I've recently gotten on eBay. I've been considering getting the Pinder CD for the Chamberlin samples since I've heard that Halion can import AKAI format samples, but I'm a little ambivalent because of the low sample rate. I sampled my Trons at 44100 and dropped the sample rate to 22050 (which I think the Pinder samples are) for a comparison and there is a big difference in the sound. It would be nice if we could upload some random note unprocessed samples of each sample set so we could all hear the differences. Maybe 3 violins low G, a midkey note and a high note. Bernie
