I suppose one might argue that the fidelity of the source doesn't 
warrant or require 44.1kHz and that 22.05kHz is sufficient to capture 
the essence of the sound, but it sure would be nice to have full 
bandwidth digital recordings.

If there are any Mellotron owners in the eastern US (Boston area) 
that wouldn't mind having their instrument recorded for samples, let 
me know.
