Mellotronists

Has anyone tried this stuff called Platenclene made by AF 
computer cleaning products? It's described as print roller cleaner 
and restorer and it's the stuff used for cleaning and restoring the 
grip on printer pinch rollers. You can get it in good computer stores.
I've never tried it myself on a tron but it sure restores the grab on 
my printer rollers.
