Mellotronists

Tony Mansfield's mid 70's band "Reeman Zeegus" had a Mellotronist 
(Paul Tattersall).  Tony went on to produce some unique material...
(New Musik, Naked Eyes, Captain Sensible).  

New Musik - From A to B was probably one of the first recordings that 
showed off the Prophet 5.  Tony and keyboardist Clive Gates did some 
outrageous things in the studio.  (Recall the thick synth string / 
brass bits, the Korg sonar bleeps and the Eventide Harmoniser vocal 
effects).

Quoting Fritz "You are never as outrageous as you think you are.  
When going for an effect, make yourself nervous".
