Wow, thanks for the link.  I hadn't seen this particular clip before.  I like 
seeing a real live performance like this with all the sound warts, as opposed 
to that infamous "live" DVD that came out a while back.

I recognize the thing Mike Pinder is playing, I have one like it in my living 
room.  Could this be Frank's MKII?  If it is, I've played (I use that term 
loosely) this very one.
Pictures of its restoration are on Ken Leonard's web site.  The thing on top 
of it looks like a Marshall head to me.  If so, that's very interesting.  I 
think I recall someone on this list mentioning that Mike Pinder used to run his 
MKII through a Marshall amp.  This makes sense, since, if I'm correct, Mike's 
MKII didn't contain an amp or speakers (to reduce weight), just a unique 
transistor preamp.
