I know many engineers who name the damnedest things. Usually stuff that is mysterious and quirky. I, myself, have an Echoplex named Justine, my multitrack machine goes by Lucinda, a 1920's wax cylinder recorder that's often referred to as Richard (or Dick as in Dictaphone) and a 50's Harmony acoustic that came with the name Poonch scrawled clumsily in sharpy on the back. Humanization is an odd thing. Nah, Jack. You're just as big a dope as the rest of us. (like the font?)
