Funny - I wasn't going to mention the 'vintage' descriptor, I figured someone on this list would jump on that. The term 'vintage' is thrown around so much on instrument descriptions. I shop around for snare drums and often find something described as 'vintage' - which usually translates to 'unkept piece of trash'. I admit, though, the price is right - and I could probably work something out with the seller. Unfortunately, I'm anticipating the arrival of an M400 any day now... The replacement SMS controller arrived last week - the M400 must be stuck in traffic somewhere between Toronto and San Francisco. yeah - a vintage M400 with that classic, warm, analog sound.
