Wha'ssgoin'on?

There's ANOTHER copy of "Rime" on eBay, this one bid up to 30 sponds
with over 4 days left to run, and also ANOTHER of those (assumed to be
illegal bootleg) transcriptions of "The Mellotron Story" ripped to
CD-R. This has attracted a bid if £4. Can we presume that the lister
who got over £30 for a similar item has spun his trusty CD Writer and
Epson Printer into action again in the hope of some other gullible
'Baywatcher shelling out mucho dosh?

Assuming that it was recorded from a BBC programme:
I am sure that BBC archives still sell recordings of radio progs? In
the old days, one wrote to B.H. and requested a copy of the desired
programme on tape for which one was charged a reasonable couple of quid
or so. Bet they're all on CD-R now, and haven't suffered audio
degradation due to being recorded off air via a hissy FM tranny.

I would suggest anyone wanting a copy of this should contact the Beeb
for a cheap legal copy rather than line the pockets of a dealer in
contraband..

Best

PS: anyone interested in a CD-r of my rare vinyl copy of the last
Kraftwerk gig with the full band line-up? Great quality, recorded thru
the desk on a Nagra........

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
